you’ll hear it here first

everyone writes the book once they’ve made it. once they’re standing at the top, looking back, connecting the dots so the luck looks like strategy.

but it would be very unlike me to do what everyone else does.

so i’m writing mine now.
like, right now.

somewhere on the way up to a top i can’t even see yet.

and truthfully? i have no idea what it looks like. which i wholeheartedly believe is the most exciting part.

i’ve always loved writing.

letters. postcards. little notes.

there’s something about catching a moment in words before it’s gone.

so that’s what this is…

my story, written while it’s still happening.

the thoughts, the feelings, the wins, the lowest of lows. as i actually live them – in real time.

and the most relatable part? i’m just like you

in Hannah’s words, i’m very much an “ordinary girl.”

i grew up in a small country town. no head start. no leg up.

but if there’s one thing i know about myself, it’s that i refuse to leave anything on the table.

if there’s a life to live, i’m living it.
if there’s a risk to take, i’m taking it.

and there’s one more thing I’m taking with me…

You!

The back of a postcard from Zoe Grace: 'i have never felt more free than waking up as a stranger in a new place with no plan, no expectations and no one who knows your name - yet. i hope you get to experience this feeling time and time again. to be young and free. there are so many people waiting to meet you, get to know you, fall in love with you. go find them and along the way you might just find more of yourself. with all the love, Zoe Grace'
